Female Business Playbook
Startup ideas, plans and templates for women founders and first-time entrepreneurs
The Fe/male Switch blog has 581 practical articles for people who want to start a company in 2027: business ideas you can test cheaply, a startup checklist, marketing and launch plans, business model canvas examples, funding guides and free templates. Every article answers one question a founder types into Google, with real numbers, official sources and a clear next step.
We write for women founders and first-time entrepreneurs who start with little money and no technical co-founder. That group gets the least venture capital and the most generic advice, so we focus on what works on a small budget: talk to customers first, sell before you build, and register the company once someone pays.
What will you find on this blog?
- Business ideas with real costs: electronics business ideas, internet business ideas, business project ideas and low cost startup ideas, each with starting budgets and a first test you can run in a week.
- Plans and templates: the business startup checklist (40 steps from idea to first 90 days), a startup marketing plan example and business model canvas examples for Airbnb, Spotify, Netflix and small startups.
- Names and branding: 120 online store name ideas and a guide to choosing a business name you can actually register.
- Money: the startup funding stages from pre-seed to IPO, plus grants, crowdfunding and the options besides venture capital.
- Country guides: how to start a business in Sweden, with official fees, forms and timelines.
How do we keep the articles up to date?
Every article shows when it was first published and when we last refreshed it. A refresh means we checked the facts again against official sources (government sites, EU law, statistics offices and the companies' own reports), replaced outdated numbers and rewrote what no longer helps. The sitemap tells search engines the same dates, so the "Updated" line always means the text really changed.
